4th Grade National Parks Pass – Summer Road Trip 2018
Two and half weeks on the road, fur ball, and Animaniacs on the DVD player…these were all the makings of a GREAT road trip.
We all had a great time and at the end we didn’t blink twice about driving another two hours just to see what was in store for us. I hope this helps anyone out there who is looking at doing something like this. I know I canvased a bunch of web sites to figure out what kid of itinerary would work for us. We did a combination of hotels and VRBO’s so that we could leave Ellie behind when park rules would not allow.
Here’s a quick run down of our itinerary. We had the luxury of hanging out in Las Cruces and touring the university and hitting up our favorite restaurants, too- The Shed and Rendezvous are our fav’s. The view from Dad’s was one of the best!
